Do I need a foundation for my latex or memory foam mattress?

 

We highly recommend purchasing a proper foundation. Your memory foam or latex mattress needs to be on a firm base to maintain its integrity. Also not having your mattress on a firm flat base will void the warranty. If you do choose not to purchase a foundation from us you can place plywood on top of a traditional box spring to create a good solid surface.

How long will it take to get my new bed?

 

Our Slumber Pros beds usually ship within 72 hours.  Natura Mattresses can take as much as 6-weeks to ship as their popularity has vastly outstripped the ability of Natura to produce their mattresses. Most other mattresses ship within 5-7 business days. Please call for a more specific estimate for delivery time. Many of our beds are custom made to order so a little extra lead time is required.

 

What makes Slumber Pro Mattresses Eco Friendly and/or Green?

 

Slumber Pros's memory foam uses a plant based oil to replace petroleum products in a substantial amount of the product. The facility also has a unique zero emissions chamber and recycles all of its waste. The mattress covers are made of a fast renewing bamboo fabric that is actually softer than Egyptian cotton.

 

What makes Natura Eco or Green

  • Shredded Latex – They invented the process to rescue latex ends, shred them and reuse them in pillow cores.
  • Wool – They are the only mattress manufacturer in North America to card their own wool which cuts down on contamination and transportation costs.
  • Foam products – Their foam products are 30% soy which replaces petroleum products in the production process.
  • All Products – A percentage of everything they produce has a natural and organic component.
  • Recycled water bottles – They have an eco-green pillow that uses recycled water bottles for its core.

 

Is memory foam hot to sleep on?

 

That is a common concern people have with memory foam. Our eco memory foam is a unique open cell product that dissipates heat 9 times faster than other memory foam on the market.

 

What is temperature neutral memory foam?

 

Our memory foam is temperature neutral, meaning that it sleeps the same at any room temperature. Some memory foam products on the market will feel either more firm or more conforming, depending on the room temperature. Our unique design maintains its integrity at any room temperature and feels the same night after night.

How long will it take to get my new sofa bed mattress?

We don’t warehouse our mattresses. They are made at the time you place your order. Mattresses usually leave our production facility within 72 hours of placing an order.

 

What if I need a mattress size that is not listed under your common sizes?

Don’t worry. We can produce custom sizes easily and inexpensively. For a small additional fee we can make any size memory foam mattress. Whether for a boat, RV or massage table, we can get you the memory foam mattress to suit your needs.

 

Is it possible to get a memory foam mattress in RV size?

We have stock many of the most common RV mattress sizes. If you don’t see it listed, then give us a call and we will be happy to quote you a price.

 

What kind of Warranty do you offer on your sleeper sofa mattress?

What is the difference between a harside waterbed and a softside waterbed?

A softside waterbed mattress is made to mimic the look of a traditional mattress, while still providing the great feel of floating on the open water. A softside waterbed allows you to use a standard bed frame and bedding with these mattresses. Different types of softside waterbeds range from shallow fill, to mid-fill, to deep fill softside water beds, depending on how much motion or wave action you prefer during sleep.

 

Natural Wood Hardside WaterbedA hardside water bed mattress is what you typically think of when you imagine a waterbed. It is comprised of a a hard-sided bed frame that keeps the sides of the waterbed from bulging outward. (Hence the name hardside waterbed) The waterbed bladder itself is usually made from flexible yet durable vinyl. Hardside waterbeds require a heating element underneath the fluid chamber that will keep the water a pleasant and safe temperature.

Do I need a foundation for my hardside of softside waterbed mattress?

 

We highly recommend purchasing a proper foundation. Your softside waterbed mattress needs to be on a firm base to maintain its integrity. Also not having your mattress on a firm flat base will void the warranty. If you do choose not to purchase a foundation from us you can place a firm, hard, flat surface (such as plywood) on top of a traditional box spring to create a good solid surface.

A hardside waterbed requires a special frame/foundation that will support the waterbed fluid cell and prevent the sides from bulging outwards. The correct hardside foundation is absolutely critical to a the safe and proper function of this type of waterbed.

Punctures:

If I have a pet will my waterbed get punctured?

 

Modern waterbed are built with heavy duty vinyl that is incredibly resistant to tears and punctures. If your cat or dog is sitting, sleeping, walking or playing on the bed, there is almost no chance that the waterbed fluid chamber will get punctured.
